Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser have remained steadfastly tight-lipped about their romance over the past 4 years, so it's no surprise that the couple did the same when they decided to start a family.
As previously reported, the Gilmore Girls alum, 34, and Kartheiser, 37, welcomed a baby boy last fall.
“But there is something about Jared.” While Bledel’s relationship with Ventimiglia was public, her romance with Padalecki remained under the radar.
, the series’ casting director Mara Casey revealed that Alexis Bledel, who played Rory Gilmore, actually dated her on-screen boyfriend Jared Padalecki (Dean).
“We did have a joke about casting all of Alexis’ [real-life] boyfriends,” Casey told casting director, Jami Rudofsky, added that Bledel didn’t even have to do a chemistry read with Ventimiglia because their compatibility was so apparent from the start.
“But there is something about Jared.” Alexis also had chemistry with resident bad boy Jess, played by Milo Ventimiglia.
The two publicly dated for three and a half years before calling it quits in 2006.
